Hey all, and Happy Summer, (finally), Just a quick note from the Chair. AGM Gives us New Executive
Chapter 4's AGM held on April 22, 2009 has elected new executive. It looks everything like the old executive. Bonnie Gostola is the Chapter Chair, Ellen Rensby is the Sec/Treas., and Donna Lyons will continue on as Vice-Chair. Donna Lyons has taken on the position of Area Council Rep. Ellen and Bonnie will continue on as Local Council Reps. The new executive looks forward to the coming two years and the challenges that come with the territory.

AGM to be held on Wednesday, April 22, 2009
Chapter 4's new AGM date has been set for Wednesday, April 22, 2009 at the Okotoks Health and Wellness Centre, 11 Cimmaron Common. The start time is 6:30 pm. As this is the second attempt to conduct this meeting a quorum is not necessary. Three members can decide the business of the chapter. Any members who would like to have their name stand for an office, can do so, in writing, to the current Chapter Chair. Positions available are: Chapter Chair, Vice Chair, Sec/Treasurer, Local Council Representative, Steward, Area Council, Health and Safety Rep., Convention Delegates. There are also several members who will be receiving Long Service Awards at this meeting. Please plan to attend.

Lack of Numbers Forces Second AGM
Chapter 4's AGM was only attended by four members, below the 10 needed to have a quorum. Subsequently, the chapter is now forced to hold a second meeting. At this meeting there is no need for a quorum and any decisions made can become formal with only 3 members agreeing. It behooves all of our members to try to attend and let there voices be heard.
